about

In an effort to archive all Frodus material outside of the well-received and bombastic "Radio-Activity" live material, this live show and a Halmstad show in Sweden were unearthed in the early 2000s. Instead of opting to paint an ideal image of the past, we chose to show the raw reality of the moment with these live releases. This 8 song set shows Frodus months before recording our last album "And We Washed Our Weapons In The Sea" and includes some early versions of tracks off the album even before vocals were written. The banter makes apparent that we were fed-up with the current music scene, hardcore, and even ourselves. The set-list consisted of numerous instrumentals and an underlying desire to push the envelope or even move onto new projects. I can't say this is my favorite live recording, that is awarded to the 1998 material on "Radio-Activity" when we were at the top of our game, but I can say that this is a document and a reminder of where we were as the band was breaking at its seams slowly in 1999.
